May you please send me your objection on the the study reported in the American Journal
(April, 1999), stated that most auto accident victims showed symptoms of Post Traumatic
Stress Disorder (PTSD) and that symptoms remain high more nine months after the accident.
Are we in the common understanding that healing process from trauma as being experienced by Party 1, as having her fear to drive, and these symptoms could remain more nine months after the accident ?
I appreciate if you could send your reply via e-mail but if you choose to reply through the
regular mail, please send me a note that you sent it through postal mail.
Thank you very much.
Yours faithfully,

SUBJECT : PTSD SYMPTOMS REMAIN HIGH MORE NINE MONTHS AFTER THE ACCIDENT
Dear Mr. Mark Schlick,
Good morning.
May I respectfully reject your settlement offer.
I find it helpful to settle issues one after the other. First, an agreement on Party 1 recovery time.
In the article titled "Healing Auto Accident Trauma" By Diane Poole Heller, Ph.D. and
Laurence Heller, Ph.D. , it was reported that, according to the National Center
for Statistics and Analysis, in 1999 there were over six million auto accidents and over three million people injured in the United States alone. A study, reported in the American Journal of Psychiatry
(April, 1999), stated that most auto accident victims showed symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and that symptoms remain high more nine months after the accident. I have printed below
for your appreciation.
Healing
Auto AccidentTraumaBy Diane Poole Heller, Ph.D. and Laurence Heller, Ph.D.
We chose to write this article and recently published our book entitled, Crash Course: A Self-Healing Guide to Auto Accident Trauma and Recovery, because we feel that auto accident trauma is one of the most misunderstood, under-treated and even incorrectly treated of all traumas. Auto accidents are increasing, affecting more than ten million people worldwide each year. According to the National Center for Statistics and Analysis, in 1999 there were over six million auto accidents and over three million people injured in
the United States alone. A study, reported in the American Journal of Psychiatry (April, 1999), stated that most auto accident victims showed symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and that symptoms remain high more nine months after the accident.
